Sodexo chefs score gold at the Cyprus Gastronomia 2016 event

The Cyprus “Gastronomia 2016” event took place last weekend at the Cyprus International Fair Grounds in Nicosia and was the largest event in recent years with 300 competitors taking part.
Sodexo has traditionally entered a number of competitors and this year was no exception with 12 chefs taking part in the competition in a number of different categories, including Chef of the Year. Given the high number of entrants this year, Sodexo chefs’ achievement in winning 6 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze medal cannot be underestimated in what is always a highly competitive tournament. Joint gold winner in the Chef of the Year category was Aristos Antoniou, who lost out on the overall title by the smallest of margins. Our congratulations to him and all the other Sodexo chefs on their fantastic achievements.
