SFA Waste Collections

Each household is provided with two wheelie bins: a green bin for general waste and a blue bin for recyclables.

Know your recyclables! You can recycle paper, card, Tetra Pak, plastic, and metal. Common household recyclables include drinks cans, foil trays, cereal boxes, milk bottles, and shoeboxes.

Please separate materials into the correct bags:
Clear bags for plastic bottles, metal packaging, and drink cartons (PMD)
Brown bags for paper and cardboard

Glass should never be placed in any household bin and must be taken to the dedicated glass recycling points located across the station.

Waste Management Across Stations

1100‑litre euro bins are located at designated points across all stations and recycling centres. Bins are colour‑coded to support correct waste separation: red for glass, green for general waste, blue for PMD (plastic, metal, and drink cartons), and brown for paper and cardboard.

Each bin is clearly labelled with a sticker showing what materials can be deposited, along with a QR code that directs customers to the Waste Management page on the Sodexo Cyprus website.
